CTO, Stan Morrow

Prior to joining Hadron, Stan co-founded Microwave Synergy, Inc. in 2003 to commercialize the microwave melting technology he co-invented during his 22-year tenure in the Y-12 Development Division while working, respectively, for the management and operating (M&O) contractors Lockheed Martin Energy Systems, Inc. and BWXT Y-12, LLC at the U.S. Department of Energy's Y-12 National Security Complex. Stan is an inventor or co-inventor of more than 10 patents related to microwave and materials processing technology, as well as the recipient of the prestigious R&D 100 award.

Sr. VP, R&D, Augusto Kunrath, Ph.D.

Augusto brings many years of experience in manufacturing and R&D to Hadron, previously serving as the director of operations for MVSystems, Inc. where he coordinated and supervised design, engineering, and fabrication of thin film deposition equipment (PECVD, CVD, and sputtering) for the semiconductor industry. Augusto's experience also includes serving as a Research Faculty member at the Colorado School of Mines and a tenured Faculty at the Mechanical Engineering Department at the Federal University of Rio Grande Sul, Brazil. Augusto holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science from the Colorado School of Mines, M.S. in Materials Science and B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Federal University of Rio Grande Sul, Brazil.

Sr. VP, Business Development & Marketing, Phillip Carpenter, P.M.P.

Phillip has over 33 years experience in government nuclear-related projects including nuclear power plant construction, nuclear power plant design, nuclear weapons systems production and project management, radioisotope thermoelectric generator production management, and nuclear operations oversight. He has worked in positions of increasing authority and responsibility over his career including: production technician, engineering associate, project controls engineer, mechanical engineer, principal/supervisory mechanical engineer, senior project controls specialist, industrial engineer, deputy program (cost/schedule) manager, program manager, and senior program manager. His knowledge, skills, and abilities include: program/project management, planning and scheduling, materials/cost estimating, engineering design, manufacturing, construction, procurement, contracts management, sales, and research & development. Phillip holds Bachelor of Science degrees, respectively, in: Physics/Mathematics from East Tennessee State University and Engineering Science from the University of Tennessee. Phillip also holds Master of Science degrees, respectively, in: Industrial Engineering from the University of Tennessee; Aeronautical Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University; and Studies of the Future from the University of Houston-Clear Lake. Phillip also holds a MBA in Management of Engineering & Technology from Northcentral University and completed all coursework (ABD) for the Ph.D. in Industrial & Systems Engineering at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. Phillip is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).

VP, Quality, Thomas Morris

Thomas has more than 36 years experience implementing quality systems for nuclear facilities. Prior to joining Hadron, Thomas' experience includes 25 years at the U. S. Department of Energy's (DOE) Y-12 National Security Complex (NSC) and 9 years at the DOE Paducah Gaseous Diffusion facility. Thomas utilizes a rigorous methodology to the implementation of quality systems that is supplemented by his strong engineering background to provide a graded approach. Thomas holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Southern Illinois University.

VP, Engineering, Ryan Sawyer, P.E.

Ryan has a diverse background in mechanical engineering, materials science, and automation. Prior to joining Hadron, Ryan led the automation engineering group, the metallized ceramics group, and worked as a mechanical engineer at CoorsTek in Golden, CO. Ryan holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado, Boulder.  Ryan is licensed as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the State of Colorado.

VP, Manufacturing, Tino Rael

Tino joined Hadron after completing a distinguished 25 year career at CoorsTek in Golden, CO where he worked his way up from production operator to become product manufacturing manager where he managed some of CoorsTek's largest business units. Tino holds an Associate's Degree in Business from Arapahoe Community College in Littleton, CO.
